lthough my interest in design started with a desire to make things look better, I quickly went deeper into the process of design. I realized that understanding the user experience and using that knowledge to solve problems was equally compelling. As a UX designer, I take a holistic approach, using design thinking to understand user needs and allow that data to drive my design. Hi there! I'm Sergii, but my friends call me Serg. I'm a UX designer and I live in South Florida. My background and education give me a unique perspective and help feed my curiousity for design.
I was born and raised in Ukraine speaking three languages. I earned both my BA and MA in Applied Linguistics before attending Ironhack Miami’s UX/UI Design course. My work experience includes time spent bartending and as a technician. In those roles, I really honed in on understanding people and solving their immediate problems. I've been able to translate many of the skills I learned into the UX field - and I still make the best Manhattan. I’m very passionate about creating things and solving problems.
