During my UX/ UI course at school, I challenged myself to redesign the Ironhack logo, just to practice more in Design Thinking process and polish my skills in Sketch app. I started with research about Ironhack and did a quick business analysis to understand more about a company, culture, their's role in education system etc. After I did brainstorming and put all brand attributes of Ironhack on a piece of paper. So I found out that Ironhack is all about family, fast education, opportunities and career change. Then I started with some concept sketches. I substituted the letter "o" with a lightbulb to express that education aspect. My V2 was about hexagon on a middle between two words. After it, I replaced the letter "o" with a hexagon. On my V3, letter "o" was a target with an arrow in it. Logos were looking good but there was no soul behind these logos. So I did secondary research on it and interviewed 5 students. I was asking them about Ironhack. What they feel about the company and it's culture and how did they choose Ironhack among others. The most popular answer was about life change, opportunities and career. So, after secondary research, I was focused on these words and keep playing with the existing logo. Later I swapped the letter "o" with "ON" symbol to express how Ironhack changes people's careers and giving them a new opportunity in life.
